Bassinet Tutorial Without Hood – Invisible Seam

Today, I'm going to teach you a completely reworked method to make an even cleaner, more professional Moses basket and above all… with zero visible joins at the row changes.

If you've already seen the old tutorial, you'll quickly see the difference.
Here, we're going to use a much more advanced technique, but I've simplified it as much as possible so you can easily master it.
The result is incredibly neat: both the inside and outside of the bassinet are perfectly regular, without any beginning or end marks of rows.

In this new version, we will work on a particular assembly of the first row, then an “invisible displacement” technique for the following rows.
This method allows for a uniform bassinet with impeccable walls, like the ones I make myself for my clients.

To do this you will need:

➡️ a pre-drilled wooden base that you can find here

➡️ a 6mm crochet hook for the first row and an 8mm hook for the following rows here

➡️ 9mm braided rope (x3 skeins) which you can find here

➡️ a pair of scissors, an erasable pencil and a measuring tool
